In today’s reading both chapters talked about God’s deliverance of David from his enemies. Psalm 64:10 summed it up for me, Let the righteous rejoice in the Lord and take refuge in him; let all the upright in heart praise him! As the righteous children of God, we can take refuge in Him, knowing He will never leave us alone no matter how bad things get for us. In all things we are to give God the praise He deserves.
41:12 You know me inside and out, you hold me together,
you never fail to stand me tall in your presence
so I can look you in the eye.
That verse speaks for itself.
64:10 Good-hearted people, make praise your habit.
It’s so easy to let complaining become the habit because people around us complain, people on TV complain, everyone complains. It’s so easy to get sucked in. But praise needs to be our habit. It puts everything in perspective. It realigns us with God’s plan and his desires and his purpose.
