Psalm chapters 14 and 53 are very similar. Both have identical first verses, The fool says in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, and their ways are vile; there is no one who does good. It is so easy to see the effects of a world that does not recognize God. But only a fool is arrogant enough to thing there is no God. More importantly, only a fool thinks they can navigate this life without the help of a perfect and loving God.
