I don’t have a lot to say about today’s reading, but Psalm 27:14 reminded me of the importance of waiting on God’s perfect plan and His timing, Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord. Waiting on God is not always easy, but when we trust in His perfect timing, we will receive exactly what and when we need.
Hi Dino,
This is a timely post! I recently heard a Palestinian believer say an extraordinary thing: God’s will is not hard to find. It is truly desiring God’s will that is the more difficult task. He added that we should pray every day to acquire the desire.
I think that is in large measure what David was talking about. There have been far too many times in my life when I was the fool that jumped in where angels fear to tread because I wanted something so much that I was sure it MUST be God’s will.
Waiting on the Lord is an active thing–it involves learning how to open our eyes so that when His will does unfold before us we are wise enough to see it.
God bless you, my brother!

Well said Ross! Unfortunately for me, waiting on God is something I have to remind myself constantly. Maybe one day I’ll finally grow up and learn how to do it the right way.
Good stuff Ross
