I love the absolute consistency of Christ. In verse 8 it says, Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. no matter how much life changes around us and how much people around us change, Jesus never does. He has always been and always will be who He said He was; our Creator, Savior, Master, Mentor, and Friend.
Daily Devotion 
“God takes particular pleasure in acts of worship—a different kind of “sacrifice”—that take place in kitchen and workplace and on the streets.” Not to diminish the work of those in “ministry”, but Hebrews really encourages me in the worship that that takes place 24/7. I come from a background where if I wasn’t an sanctioned missionary or wasn’t in ministry at the church, then I wasn’t truly serving God. What a bunch of baloney. You serve every single person around you whether it be colleagues or the cashier.
