Proverbs 9:10 stood out to me today, The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. Where it says fear, it really means to stand in awe of the Lord. The sooner we stand in awe and know who God really is, the sooner we begin to gain knowledge and understanding. The only way to truly do this is to have an authentic relationship with God.
