Before we knew Christ we made choices as though life on this earth is all there is. But as believers, this life is just an introduction to the life God has intended for us in eternity. In Matthew 16:26 Jesus said, What good will it be for a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul? Or what can a man give in exchange for his soul? The possessions we gain in our life on earth has no value in eternity. We must learn to evaluate all we do in the light of eternity.
