I thought Proverbs 11:14 in today’s reading was an appropriate verse for this election season, For lack of guidance a nation falls, but many advisers make victory sure. We can only pray and trust that our lack of good choices for our next commander in chief is balance by an ability to (hopefully) pick quality advisers and a heart to listen to their guidance.
