This was a great video! TD Canadian Trust, turned their ATM (Automated Teller Machine) into an Automated Thanking Machine. What a special way to brighten someone’s day.

As I reflect this Sunday morning, I can’t help but realize I do not spend enough time on my knees. My tendency is to work hard, not pray harder. Maybe it’s time I change that.

We are never too old for God to use us and sometimes we doing even realize it is happening. Let us always be prepared to be used by God.

This is a fascinating video with many interesting thoughts, both spiritually and just plain interesting. The video is produced by a guy name Destin Sandlin who is literally a rocket scientist. He credits his fascination with scientific method and his job as a rocket engineer for having inspired him to make educational videos on his YouTube channel “Smarter Every Day”. One of the things Destin talks about in the video below is, “Knowledge does not equal understanding”. While I believe Destin is a believer, he does not come right out and say it, but this has some very interesting spiritual implications. Just because we have knowledge, does not mean we understand. In other words, if we do not have the Holy Spirit to help us understand God, all the knowledge in the world will not bring us closer to Him. Moreover, as believers, telling people about God and giving them more knowledge about Him does not necessarily help them understand His love and desire to have a relationship with Him. It is not an issue of knowledge, but instead, it comes from an understanding that can only come from God Himself.
On the non-spiritual side, and something incredibly interesting, is the complexity of the algorithm in your brain used to ride a bicycle. It really is THAT complicated. If you really think about it, there are innumerable calculations and adjustments your brain instructs your body to make to do something as “simple” as riding a bike. Your brain is an amazing computer and able to do much more than we may ever realize.
Sit back and enjoy the video. I hope it blows you away as much as it did me.

The other day I watched this ESPN Sports Center video about Rebekah Gregory, who shielded her then 5-year-old son from the Boston Marathon bombing. She later made the difficult decision to amputate her leg due to her significant injuries. Six months after her amputation and being fitted for her prosthetic leg, she returned to the 2015 Boston Marathon to run a portion of the race in a display of determination and courage. This is such an emotional video to watch and shows how God can use even the worst of circumstances to show our deepest strength.

Today at church, in honor of Mother’s Day, we were shown this short but beautiful video of God’s miraculous power. The couple in the video goes to our church and after receiving almost 3 Million views on YouTube, they were even featured in a story on Inside Edition. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house, and I hope you enjoy it too!
Happy Mother’s Day!!!

The video below is my daughter’s senior project. I’m not gonna lie, when I first watched it, I cried like a baby. I remember the day we brought her home from the hospital and it has been an amazing journey watching her grow into the woman God created her to be. I hope you enjoy this video as much as I did. I love my little girl.

Peace comes from one source and that is from God. This is a great reminder for all of us. When we face situations that make us anxious, remember God can bring us peace and tranquility if we simply ask and have faith. Also, He does it in a way we don’t necessarily understand, but that is what makes it even more special and fulfilling.

God’s Grace is something very few of us fully understand. Each of us understands it on at least a surface level, but it is impossible to truly grasp the Grace of God. Our gift of Grace comes from a place we could never comprehend, but we can be thankful for it as best as we are able. God’s Grace is perfect and without it we would have a finite existence, but with it we can face eternity knowing we will be in the presence of God.
